Before Nintendo released Star Fox, they had a nation-wide tournament to see who was the best at the game!  The Star Fox Competition Cartridge was a very rare version of the game created so that people could compete at Toys R Us stores across the country on a preview version of Star Fox.  This version of the game is a special 5 minute, timed version of the game with escalating points.
