Bring an arcade video or pinball machine to sell or show and get rewarded for your effort with tickets, cash, money for the show, and more! The Midwest Gaming Classic has always been one of the best places to play arcade video and pinball machines, but it is also one of the best place for collectors and sellers to bring arcade video and pinball machines to show and sell. The Midwest Gaming Classic provides people who bring games to the show with some amazing rewards! Bring a game, and you get a two-day pass to the show (a $25 value!) or $15.00 cash! Bring more than one game, and you keep getting this reward for as many games as you bring! The Midwest Gaming Classic offers special reward levels. For every four games you bring, you will reach a different additional reward level starting with a $15 gas card if you bring 4 games, and you can work all the way up to a free stay at the Brookfield Sheraton during the event as long as you keep those games at the Midwest Gaming Classic until 4:00pm on Sunday! If that isn’t enough, this year Instant Rewards return to the Midwest Gaming Classic! Bring 2 games, and get an instant $10.00 to enter any Midwest Gaming Classic tournament! Bring more, and you can earn money to use throughout the show! The Midwest Gaming Classic also is a great place to sell games. With over 3600 attendees in 2009, the market looking to purchase games is huge and unlike many other shows, if you sell a game there is absolutely no fee taken by the Midwest Gaming Classic! And don’t forget — if you bring a game to the Midwest Gaming Classic, you’ll receive exclusive entry into the Saturday night after party. This after party celebrates those who bring games to the show, and full details will be announced in the near future. All this together makes the perfect spot to bring your arcade video or pinball games for sale or show, whether you have never brought a game to a show ever before or you are a pro who intends on bringing a semi-trailer full, the Midwest Gaming Classic is the perfect location for you!

Classic computers and modern gaming collide in this awesome presentation from Jeff McCord about the game he helped to create in 1982 for the Commodore VIC-20, and was just recently ported to the iPhone! What is it like to change the face of computer gaming by releasing a monumental computer game in 1982, and then porting it to other computer systems… all while you are in high school? And then, what it is like to revisit that game years later and port it to the iPhone? Jeff McCord, the creator of the Sword of Fargoal game will be on hand at the Midwest Gaming Classic on Saturday to tell you just what it was like, as his award winning game the Sword of Fargoal did just that! After developing the game in BASIC in 1982, Jeff was offered a publishing deal from Epyx, Inc to bring it out on the VIC-20, and later the C-64. Both of these versions of the game were very well received, and are fondly remembered today by Commodore fans worldwide — in fact, nearly 15 years after it was created, it was remembered as one of the best computer games of all time by Computer Gaming World! Now, the Sword of Fargoal has returned and it is winning rave reviews once again with a whole new generation of fans — the game was ported to the iPhone last year, and continues to wow people today, even being named one of the top iPhone games of 2009 by TouchArcade
