Sunday is Family Day at the Midwest Gaming Classic


Sunday, March 28th will play host to special events and discounts so the whole family can come to the show ane enjoy electronic gaming together! New for 2010, the Midwest Gaming Classic on Sunday is Family Day!  Bring the whole family out to enjoy the show, and get special Family Day Discounts and participate in special Family Day Events! Sunday, general admission is only $10.00 per person, and kids 12 and under are free as long as they are accompanied by an adult!  On top of that, select vendors will have special deals to help the family come together and game electronically, such as cheaper childrens games, cheaper additional controllers, and more cool stuff!  You can get a list of the specials when you arrive Sunday morning! Family Day will also host special events that the whole family can participate in together!  From doing an arts and crafts project with the Sisters in Gaming in the VGEvo Events room to Tom Legare talking about how to determine if games are right for your children in the main speaking hall, Family Day will have lots of awesome things you won’t want to miss! Space Invaders Co-Op Tourney Announced


Think you have great Space Invaders skills?  Join up with a friend or family member and prove it at the Midwest Gaming Classic! Do you think that you’re good at Space Invaders?  Do you think you can combine that skill with someone else?  Then take on the Co-Op Space Invaders tournament at the Midwest Gaming Classic!  One person moves the ship, while the other shoots the ship’s shots.  How good you can work together will determine how far you go. The Space Invaders Co-Op Challenge is one of the Retro Video Game Tournaments for the 2010 Midwest Gaming Classic.  There will be two divisions of play in this tournament, the first is the open tournament where you can team up with anyone and everyone to play in the tournament.  The second is the family tournament, where any one family member can team with up someone aged 12 or under in their family to try to reach the high score for the day on Space Invaders. Midwest Gaming Classic Location Announced and Tickets On Sale!


The Midwest Gaming Classic, the largest all-encompassing electronic gaming event today officially announced that the 2010 show will be held at the Brookfield Sheraton, just minutes outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin! Along with this announcement, tickets for the March 27th and 28th show went on sale today at the Midwest Gaming Classic web site.
